Description

Sparshveda Neem Oil is extracted from the seeds of the neem tree, often called the “village pharmacy” in Ayurveda due to its broad therapeutic benefits for skin, hair and overall wellness.

This oil is densely packed with limonoids, azadirachtin and sulphur-containing compounds that give it exceptional antimicrobial, antifungal and antiparasitic power, making it ideal for problem-prone skin and scalp.

For skin, Neem Oil is a natural ally against acne, pimples, whiteheads, fungal infections and congested pores. Its antibacterial and antifungal molecules help reduce breakout-causing microbes, while its anti-inflammatory action calms redness, swelling and itching.

Over time, it can help reduce the appearance of marks and scars and support a more even, clarified complexion when used properly diluted in a carrier oil or cream.

For hair and scalp, Sparshveda Neem Oil helps break the cycle of dandruff, itchiness and recurrent scalp infections. Its antifungal activity is particularly useful against dandruff-causing yeasts, while its insecticidal properties help in addressing head lice and nits.

At the same time, neem’s fatty acids nourish the scalp barrier, strengthen follicles and support healthier hair growth from the root.

Neem oil is also traditionally used to soothe eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and other inflammatory or infected skin conditions on the body, when blended with milder carrier oils to reduce potency.

Its strong antioxidant content helps neutralize free radicals, slowing visible signs of skin ageing and supporting the regeneration of healthier tissue.

Because neem is a highly active and “hot” oil, it is best used in low concentrations, especially on the face and sensitive skin, and always diluted in base oils like sesame, coconut, jojoba or almond.

Key Benefits

Helps treat acne-prone and oily skin by reducing breakout-causing bacteria and excess oil.

Supports clearer, even-toned skin by aiding in the fading of marks, blemishes and minor scars.

Fights dandruff, flaky scalp and itchiness with strong antifungal and antibacterial action.

Supports healthier hair growth by strengthening follicles and maintaining a clean, balanced scalp.

Helps in managing lice infestations and scalp infections when used as part of a regular treatment routine.

Soothes eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and irritated skin when diluted correctly for targeted application.

Provides antioxidant and anti-ageing support by protecting skin from environmental damage.

How to Use Sparshveda Neem Oil

For acne & spot treatment (always dilute):
Mix 1 drop of neem oil with 5–10 drops of a gentle carrier oil (like jojoba or rosehip). Apply only on affected areas as a night-time spot treatment and rinse in the morning. Start 2–3 times per week.

For full-face use (very sensitive / acne-prone skin):
Blend a few drops of neem oil into your regular face oil or moisturizer at a low percentage (around 1–2%) and use 2–3 nights a week to help manage breakouts and congestion.

For dandruff & itchy scalp:
Mix neem oil with coconut, sesame or another hair oil (about 1 part neem to 3–4 parts carrier oil). Massage into scalp, leave for 30–60 minutes or overnight, then shampoo. Use 1–2 times per week.

For hair growth & scalp health:
Combine neem oil with nourishing oils like castor, coconut or onion oil and use as a weekly scalp massage to keep the scalp clean and support stronger roots.

For body skin / eczema / fungal patches:
Dilute neem oil well in a carrier (around 5–10%) and apply only on affected areas. Do a patch test first and adjust frequency based on skin response.

Safety & Usage Notes

Always dilute neem oil before applying to face, scalp or body. It is very potent and can irritate skin if used neat.

Perform a patch test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; for external use only.

Not recommended undiluted for children or during pregnancy; consult a professional if in doubt.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use and switch to a lower dilution or milder oil.
