Description
Sparshveda Pumpkin Seed Oil is extracted from high-quality pumpkin seeds (pepitas) using a cold-press process that preserves their full nutrient spectrum. This medium-weight oil is loaded with hair-loving and skin-loving actives: vitamin E, phytosterols (like beta-sitosterol), zinc, magnesium, iron, biotin, and a high content of unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids.
For hair and scalp, pumpkin seed oil has gained attention because of its potential to support hair growth and reduce hair loss by modulating DHT (dihydrotestosterone), the hormone closely linked with androgenetic hair thinning.
Studies show that pumpkin seed oil provides fatty acids and phytosterols that can inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. At the same time, its rich nutrient profile moisturises the scalp, strengthens the hair shaft, improves elasticity and protects against breakage and damage from heat and styling.
On the skin, Sparshveda Pumpkin Seed Oil offers a potent blend of vitamins A, C and E with omega 3, 6 and 9, making it an excellent anti-ageing and barrier-repair oil. These nutrients help boost collagen production, fade the appearance of fine lines, and improve firmness while regenerating damaged tissues and evening out tone and texture.
Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties help calm acne-prone, eczema-prone and irritated skin by reducing redness, soothing flare-ups and speeding up the healing of scars and blemishes. Its ability to regulate sebum and moisturise without an excessively greasy feel makes it suitable for normal, dry and combination skin when used in moderation.
Because pumpkin seed oil is rich in antioxidants, it helps defend against environmental aggressors and oxidative stress that accelerate hair ageing (loss of colour, thinning) and skin ageing (wrinkles, dullness, roughness). Used regularly, it can help hair look fuller and shinier and skin appear smoother, plumper and more resilient.

External use only unless specifically labelled as food-grade and directed otherwise.
Patch test before first use, especially on acne-prone or sensitive skin.
Start with small amounts on face or fine hair to avoid heaviness.
If you are under treatment for hair loss or a skin condition, use pumpkin seed oil as a complementary cosmetic step—not a replacement for medical care.
