Description
Sparshveda Rosehip Oil is extracted from the nutrient-dense fruit (hips) of the rose plant, not the petals, giving it a naturally rich profile of vitamins A, C, E, linoleic and linolenic acids, carotenoids and polyphenols—all of which are clinically associated with improved texture, tone and barrier function.
This makes it a true “multi-correction” oil that works particularly well for skin with acne marks, pigmentation, fine lines or dehydration.
Vitamin A in rosehip (in the form of natural retinoids and trans-retinoic acid) gently supports cell turnover, helping soften the look of fine lines, smooth roughness and gradually fade post-acne marks and shallow scars with consistent use.
Unlike strong synthetic retinoids, pure rosehip oil is generally better tolerated and can be used more regularly by most skin types when introduced slowly.
Vitamin C and carotenoids give rosehip its brightening and protective edge. They help even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of dark spots and sun-induced pigmentation, and provide antioxidant support against UV and pollution stress that accelerates ageing.
At the same time, high levels of linoleic and linolenic acid (omega 6 and omega 3) strengthen the lipid barrier, reduce transepidermal water loss and keep skin bouncy, supple and deeply moisturized without heaviness.
Rosehip oil’s anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial components, including phenols and beta-sitosterol, help calm redness and support skin prone to mild acne, eczema or irritation, making it suitable even for sensitive and combination skin when used correctly.
Early research and clinical observations also suggest benefits in softening the look of surgical scars, stretch marks and long-standing marks, especially when applied consistently over several months.
Key benefits
Fades acne scars, post-blemish marks, dark spots and hyperpigmentation for a more even skin tone.
Targets early signs of ageing—fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity—by supporting collagen production and cell renewal.
Deeply hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, reducing dryness, flakiness and sensitivity.
Helps repair and protect against sun damage and environmental stress thanks to antioxidant vitamins A, C, E and carotenoids.
Calms inflammation and redness, making it suitable for acne-prone, reactive and eczema-prone skin when introduced gently.
May help soften the appearance of scars and stretch marks with long-term, consistent use.
